We have some exciting news to share from the global stage. Fitasy has officially been named a winner at the 2026 FIT Sport Design Awards, taking home one of the top honors in the Sportswear Design of the Year / Footwear category.

The FIT Sport Design Awards celebrate the most innovative sports equipment and apparel on a global scale. For our team, this recognition in their fourth edition is a major milestone—and a powerful validation of our core mission.

We never wanted to make just another sneaker at Fitasy. We set out to completely reimagine how we design, make, and enjoy our shoes. Our first stop was to rethink everyday comfort and athletic recovery through precision-fit, inclusive, 3D-printed footwear. The traditional footwear industry has relied on mass-produced, "standardized" pairs since the 19th century. By combining spatial AI, advanced smartphone imaging, and on-demand additive manufacturing, we are proving that shoes can—and should—be built around the true, complex morphology of real human feet.

Out of all the global entries, it is an incredible privilege to see our technology recognized alongside a select group of exceptional innovators pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

The 2026 jury focused heavily on the intersection of biocircularity, bioplastics, and technology. It is a genuine honor to share the podium with other winners, including  Decathlon Pulse Lab and Balena, who took home Sport Gear Design of the Year for their groundbreaking bacteria-fermented bioplastic frisbee, and Solk AG, who won Sport Apparel Design of the Year for their adhesive-free, compost-capable footwear.

As Astrid Hébert, Co-Founder and Director of the 3C Awards, reflected on this year's selection:

"This fourth edition has made one thing clear: the future of sport design is responsible design. The winners this year aren’t just pushing the boundaries of performance — they’re rethinking what materials, systems, and end-of-life responsibility mean for our industry. That ambition, combined with the extraordinary student talent we’re seeing, is exactly what FIT Awards aim to celebrate."
