One foot, one last, one shoe. We iterate with you until it fits.
HOW FITASY Began
We started with veterans
We're a team of engineers and research scientists from MIT, UW–Madison, and Imperial College — experts in mobile vision, 3D imaging, and 3D-printing materials. Our belief is simple: shoes should help people move better and live better.
Began as a pilot with VA
FITASY began as a research collaboration with a custom shoemaker for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Custom orthopedic shoes have always required two slow, expensive things: an in-person fitting, and a hand-carved last for every foot.
Orthopedic shoes are not stylish - lack of confidence wearing them
The technology worked — but the people wearing the shoes didn't feel good in them. Functional fit isn't the same as feeling proud of what's on your feet. So we did the obvious thing. We reached out to footwear brands and offered to power custom-fit versions of the shoes their customers already loved.
Nobody said yes. So we built it ourselves
We pitched custom-fit programs to footwear brands. We had the scanning, the 3D pipeline, but none of the brands wanted to do it. Custom-fit didn't fit their model. So we started FITASY - a shoe brand aiming to redefine footwear.
Anatomy of Stride
Engineered for the shift.
Not the showroom.
Six things your current shoe is missing — printed as one piece, no glue, no compromise.
Adaptive arch support
Lattice geometry tuned to your arch height. Holds shape through ten-thousand-step shifts.
Advanced cushioning
Multi-density 3D-printed midsole. Soft underfoot, supportive at the heel, energy-returning at the toe.
360° ventilation
Open lattice upper moves heat out and air in. End-of-shift feet feel like start-of-shift feet.
Slip-resistant outsole
Tested on hospital flooring with spills. Confident grip without stiffness.
Easy-care, machine washable
One-piece print, no glued layers. Rinse, machine, or top-rack dishwasher.
Wide, anatomical toe box
Toes spread the way they should. Designed for natural splay, not fashion last.
IF THIS SOUNDS LIKE YOU
Give us a try.
We built FITASY for people the shelf doesn't fit. If any of these are true for you, we think we can help.
You can't find shoes that fit
Wide feet, narrow heels, bunions, length differences - the shelf doesn't have your size, because the shelf doesn't have your shape.
Your feet are tired by lunch
If you stand or walk all day and finish the day aching, the shoe is almost always the variable.
You have a foot condition
We've made shoes for customers managing real conditions, and they're happy. We're not a substitute for your clinician - but we can make footwear that works alongside their plan.
You want a shoe that's yours
One foot, one shoe. Scanned from your phone, printed to your last, refined until it feels right.
