The Fitasy journey began back in the humble office that Yujun and Justin shared on the second floor of MIT’s Building 31. In that innovative space, they frequently contemplated the often-overlooked environmental toll of modern industries, the all too often overlooked individual's need with a focus to unlock new ways to solve the deep-rooted problems in footwear.
Years later, during the global pandemic, a moment of clarity struck Yujun, akin to Newton’s “Apple Moment,” as he held his iPhone. He envisioned harnessing the spatial capacities of the smartphone’s camera to address the persistent challenges within the footwear industry. This revelation or moment of absolute clarity, ignited spirited discussions among friends;

Jian, envisioned mobile vision and AI as revolutionary tools to transform footwear technology, bringing innovative solutions to the industry.
Justin, driven by a commitment to social impact, sought to uplift those overlooked by traditional shoe designs, aiming to give voice and support to those that have been overlooked.
Kevin, drawing from his experience as an athlete, was passionate about crafting shoes that provided a flawless fit for all, enhancing comfort and performance. Together, their shared vision laid the groundwork for a new era in footwear—one where technology meets empathy and athletic insight to create superior, personalized experiences for everyone.

And so, Fitasy was born—with a shared vision to bring real change. We’re not here to make more shoes. We’re here to serve people better and protect our planet.
